**UNDERSOCIALIZED - Will require special adopter** Edvard and his siblings, Henri and Dali, were rescued from a neighborhood in Madison Heights last summer. Ed didn’t warm up to humans as quickly as his siblings did, but he has made great progress in his foster home! Ed loves ear, chin, and back scritches more than anything in the world. He will cheerfully purr and chirp to show his appreciation. He has overcome a lot of anxiety and has done a wonderful job of learning how to trust, but is still a bit leery of human touch at times. He doesn’t like to feel trapped and isn’t a huge fan of being picked up, but we’re confident that he will get there with time. Ed will need a patient and loving human that has experience with anxious kitties.  Ed is a VERY chatty boy who loves to be complimented. He particularly enjoys being told that he’s a good boy. If he is feeling anxious or scared, a friendly conversation will always calm him down. Ed even knows his name and will happily prance over when called! Ed has so many wonderful qualities: he is sweet, smart, social, affectionate, and super playful! He loves to play ‘Q-tip catch’ with his foster parents. Much of his social progress is due to the quality time he spends with his foster humans playing catch. He will require a minimum of 1 morning and 1 afternoon session of Q-tip catch in his furever home! :)  Edvard is a young kitty with lots of energy and will need to go to a forever home with another energetic fur-sibling or two. He would not do great in a home with small children at this time.  Ed is currently in a loving foster home. If you are a patient and loving human who is able to help him continue to blossom, please apply to meet him today!  Adoption fee: $150 show less

*Goldie and Rod are a BONDED PAIR* Goldie and her bro bro, Rod, were rescued from a Southfield yard as part of a litter, in the summer of 2021. Goldie and Rod have been been in a loving foster home learning how to trust humans. Their foster mom has done a wonderful job of helping them feel safe and loved. They love to snuggle up on the bed with their foster mom at night and lounge on the couch with her during the day. Goldie and Rod also love to watch tv - especially bird tv! With the consistent love and patience of their foster mama, they have blossomed into increasingly confident and social kitties. They LOVE LOVE LOVE sitting by the open window, feeling the breeze on their whiskers. Rod loves to chirp and chatter. Goldie enjoys stealing Q-tips from her foster mama's stash; she plucks one out, throws it around and comes back to pluck more. Goldie also enjoys batting a ball back and forth with her foster mama on her favorite ball tower toy.  Goldie and Rod both go cuckoo for the squeeze treats and that has been one of the best ways to engage and build trust and adoration with them. They are searching for their FUREVER happy ending together and will be a great pair for a hooman that can provide devotion and patience for a couple of kitties that got a challenging start. Please apply to meet them today! Adoption fee: $250 for the pair. show less
