Meet Tex! He is a playful 5 month old domestic short hair kitten rescued from the middle of a busy street in Pleasant Grove. Life on the streets without a mama wasn’t easy. Tex was malnourished and sickly; it took some time for him to feel like a normal kitten! He can be a little shy at first, but once he feels comfortable he is unstoppable! He loves other cats and gets along with dogs. He is a happy little guy who enjoys naps on the couch while watching tv, back scratches, and playing with his siblings and friends. He can’t resist chasing a string or ball and even takes his favorite toys to bed with him. Tex would fit well in a home with other pets. He has been neutered, microchipped and is up to date on vaccines. Adopt Tex today! All Dallas DogRRR adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. The standard minimum donation for kittens (under 12 months) is $150 and all cats over 12 months are $100. My name is Benson aka Traveler, I’m a super duper well-behaved, calm dog. And because I'm so patient and peaceful and not clingy or crazy, I make a great big brother to my foster's crazy pups! I am crate and potty trained and the whole time I have been with my foster family I haven’t had a single accident inside. When I am left at home alone, I am best left in my crate as I do like to look out the windows and sometimes knock things over on accident 😊 Because of my past, I’m very timid at first to new people, but when I am shown love and compassion I warm up very quickly. I will do better having brothers in the house as I love playing with other dogs, tug of war with a rope, or just wrestling and horse play on the living room floor. I am kid friendly, and still haven’t decided how I feel about cats (I live with 2 right now but we are still at a standoff of sorts trying to figure each other out). Because of my past I am extremely grateful to be inside but I still I like exploring and going on walks around the neighborhood. I very rarely bark unless there is a stranger at the door. I enjoy face scratches and hugs, baby talk, big stretches, and lounging around on the couch while the humans watch TV. Traveler is his name and it is very fitting. Poor Traveler was found homeless trying to make himself save and comfortable in the closest thing he thought was home...a box on someone's back porch that didn't want to have anything to do with him. From what we understand he has been seen roaming the streets of South Dallas for over a year. They would run him off but he would come back to the same box to sleep in. Knowing he was desperate for a loving home we rescued him in hopes we can find him that! His traveling days are now behind him. All Dallas DogRRR adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. The standard minimum donation for puppies is $300, dogs over 12 months is $200 and for our senior dogs $100. Valentine was rescued last Feb, she is a Pyrenees Anatolian mix, about 70 lbs, had a liver shunt and had surgery to help her. She still needs medicine 3x a day. She is very sweet and beautiful, she loves her humans and wants to be sure they are safe at all times. She is a good girl, a bit shy out of her element but as long as she has you she feels safe. This sweet girl came from South Texas. You could see every bone in her body and she winced at any movement made. Shortly after she got settled in at her foster home, she got really sick. She suffered from an intussusception and was rushed into an emergency surgery we feared she wouldn’t make it out of.. but she did! When they did her blood work, they discovered that her liver was not functioning correctly, so we began treating that. For months her foster nursed her back to health and helped her gain weight, strength, and confidence. However, her battle wasn’t over yet, she still needed surgery to correct her liver shunt. She got her surgery in October, and she is healing well! She has been through so much, and she deserves the best life. She is a great dog and really easy, and while she is timid at first, once she warms up the derpy-ness and love comes pouring out of her. She needs a home with someone who can give her her medication every 8 hours. Valentine is great with other pups, playful and gentle and doesn’t bother her foster sibling kitty. All Dallas DogRRR adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption.
