She could be one of the Golden Girls, yes she's a bit older but she is spunky, sweet and lets you know when she's had enough! This beautiful sweet girl was dumped in a shelter covered with fleas and ticks and in pain all over her body...probably from being kept in small quarters where her muscles atrophied and her skin is worn and missing fur on all parts used to lay down.  Don't think she ever had a comfy bed or gentle hand pet her.  When you saw her in the shelter your thinking this is an old dog...she just laid there in misery.  She would get up when you came to her but wept everywhere you pet her.  Had several litters of pups over the years. Well now, after just two weeks this sweet girl gets so excited when you come home...wags her tail and at times seems like she almost wants to jump up.  She is loving life.  All she wants to do is get pets and snuggle with you.  She has an awesome personality.  She is still sore in some places and has arthritis in her hips and legs but what a difference a little medical care and love can do.  And in actuality she is not even that old, I think in a few more weeks she is going to start building more muscle and getting even stronger...this girl still has a lot of life to live.  If your interested in a chow mix, she will be a great companion maybe not your hiking buddy but your snuggling up watching movies buddy!  Minna is around 9 years old and 30 pounds.  All Dallas DogRRR adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. The standard minimum donation for puppies is $300, dogs over 12 months is $200 and for our senior dogs $100. Check out this beautiful Rottie mix, man he will still your heart.  Nitro is a clown with a permanent smile and he just wants to play and get your full attention.  He is around 3 years old and weighs close to 60 pounds.  The more we get to know Nitro the more we love this beautiful boy, he has so much love to share. Cute Nitro was an owner surrender when we were saving abandoned dogs who had been left to fend for themselves in the deep woods.  He and his pal Seb seem to share a special bond together.   We are getting him vetted and ready for his happily ever after.  He is so adorable and has such a fun loving personality despite all the chaos of rescuing 30 dogs at once.  Happy boy! All Dallas DogRRR adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. This sweet girl is such a goofball and so much fun.  She loves everyone except those ones that meow!  She is so gentle & sweet. Nothing but love in those eyes despite her history.  Her little goofy side is really coming out now that she is happy and safe. Olive came up on transport from the south. She was severely malnourished, had mange and a terrible skin infection. She was used for breeding and was completely defeated. She has the sweetest soul, the most beautiful eyes and she deserves love. In such a short time you could see the light.....look in her eyes, she has hope!!! This is why we do what we do. This dog is innocent and did nothing to deserve the treatment she got from other humans.  She has a 2nd chance to share her soul with a family. I think that is pretty darn special. I am so honored to be part of her journey in trusting and loving again.  Another poor dog covered in mange with little hope of making it out of the shelter alive.  Mange is so easy to fix and once the hairs grows back it is amazing what a difference it makes.  Olive is going to be one beautiful girl in a short time.  She is going to feel so much better and be such a happy go lucky girl.  Olive is a small girl around 35-40 pounds and a year old. All Dallas DogRRR adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption.  The standard minimum donation for puppies is $300, dogs over 12 months is $200 and for our senior dogs $100.  You can view all the adoptable pets and fill out an adoption application online on our website at http://dallasdogrrr.org.  For more information, you can email adopt@dallasdogrrr.org.
