Yo-yo-yo!! Koby is in the hizzouse!!! My foster's house that is! 😁 My owners let me get out of the house and when Garland Shelter picked me up my owners said they didn't want me. How wrong is that??! My foster's place is way better than the digs I was in. Heck - foster lady even listened when I told her she should grab that little scamp Barkley in the kennel next to me! Gotta give that lady some props. I think I'm a total catch (and she does too!)... Vetted, chipped, neutered and HW neg - what more could you ask for?! Adorable little guy! Koby is a 2 year old 18 pound Havanese mix. He is dog friendly and loves attention and snuggling up with his humans. This guy is crate and potty trained. We are teaching him how to use a doggy door. We saved this pup from the shelter after his owners no longer wanted him. He deserves a chance to find his forever home. All Dallas DogRRR adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. They brought us to Dallas and BOOM! we are all safe and some of my puppies already found their furever home. It is my turn now! My foster mom says that I am the sweetest girl ever. Linda- absolutely loves cuddling. She is a bit apprehensive with new people and dogs but will warm up. It took a few weeks of decompression for her to bloom to her natural cuddly self. She gets along well with my 7 year old and my dog Thor. Food is the way to her heart. After everything she’s been through I think she would be best with a family who knows how to give dogs space and time to acclimate to a new surrounding. She needs a calm loving family who goes for short walks and loves a couch potato. I love a good whine, food, music, yoga, and peeing on cement. Good boys ONLY. I take myself seriously 100% of the time. Professional model and nap expert. I’ve been accused of being a “stage 5 clinger” but I just really like to cuddle. No shame in my game. Linda is so happy to be feeling better, she has energy and her tail doesn't stop wagging. She is recovering and getting stronger every day. Her beautiful personality is coming out and she is the biggest cuddle bug. She loves every person she meets and LOVES children more than anything else. Linda is so cute but these pictures are deceiving... she is CRAZY 😂 she has unlimited zoomies trapped inside of her tiny body. When she’s excited her whole body wiggles like a worm. She is such a sweet heart and very proud of herself for sitting, staying, and laying when she’s told. Depsite what this sweet girl has been through, she is the sweetest dog. I have noticed that she was very scared and fidgety with loud noises and quick hand movements at first. I have a feeling that she was abused by her previous owner. This morning she came out of her shell and played with my 7 year old daughter and I. She played with her toys and was so excited to go outside. She is eating good and getting her strength back. She is on a long road to recovery but she’s going to be the perfect dog for her forever family. Linda was sitting on the cold shelter floor, but the volunteers advocated for her and she was rescued and transferred to our care!!! Her symptoms: struggling to breathe, low Pvc levels and needing a blood transfusion. Her abdomen was full of fluid which looks to be a bloody substance and she is possibly septic!!! 😢 She was not in heart failure, she was in fact pregnant. I wish I could say they were all healthy, but they were not, they were all dead and decomposing in her abdomen. The doctor tapped her belly and drained off almost 3 lbs. Her only chance was EMERGENCY surgery so that is what we did. They were shocked with what they found... her uterus had ruptured and the babies were decomposing in her abdomen. It seems there was a baby stuck in the birth canal it blocked the fluid and her belly began to fill up with fluid. The surgery lasted almost 4 hours. They were SHOCKED by what they found. It was full of puppy bones spread throughout her stomach. It was the saddest thing. The doctors said she is one of the toughest pup they have meet. She defeated so many odds and she should be dead but she fought and she is still fighting. They said she had been in this condition for a minimum of 10 days to 3 weeks. She was in danger of going septic. She required a blood and albumin transfusion and still in danger; her condition was considered guarded. She was on antibiotic fluids and being closely monitored! Her bill was over $4,000 for just one night. All Dallas DogRRR adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Lucas, a small 5yo dachshund boy was rescued from a shelter where he showed up covered in what the vet suspects as cigarette burns and puncture wounds that were inflicted intentionally. This boy needs special attention and love. He came in as a stray, dehydrated and flea infested with wounds all over his body and a large piece of flesh missing on the right side of the his stomach. The vet notes read "multiple swiss cheese burns on neck like cigarette burns with ulcerations of right lateral thorax, flank and along right later femur, BCS2/9, seroma on left side of neck, drain with syringe". The affected areas have been clipped, cleansed and are being treated daily. He is receiving IV fluids, antibiotics and pain medication. He appears and acts depressed. Through all of this he has not made a single sound. He really does need special love and attention. He is doing so much better now, gaining confidence and learning that life can be good. He is so sweet and loving. Will make someone very happy. All Dallas DogRRR adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Lucille is such an awesome pup! Rather shy when she first came home to foster, she just started getting integrated to my little pack when she had surgery... And wearing a cone for a month doesn't make you very popular with the locals! My youngest pup never gave up on her during her cone head time... And now that her ear is healed enough for her to spend time without the cone she is quickly making up for lost time! Lucille had a few months to heal before surgery on her other ear. Well she made it through with flying colors and is feeling 100% better. She is sweet, loving, adorable and just wants to be loved and treasured. Lucille is one of the 'a bit older' girls we brought up from an overcrowded shelter in South Texas. She had one of the worst ear infections we had ever seen. It took multiple trips to the vets for cleaning and treatment and in the end needed surgery. We are doing everything we can to ensure she does not have to be uncomfortable like that again. She is enjoying the comforts of her foster home now as she recovers and waits for her furever family! All Dallas DogRRR adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Mackenzie (Mackie for short). She is the sweetest!! Approximately 5 months old. Weighs 25 lbs. She’s going to be a low rider, I think. She loves to play with other dogs and loves kids. Crate trained and is extremely well behaved in her crate. Still working on house breaking. She has a liver shunt and will have a procedure to help that. She is thriving on her medicine regimen and correct food. She loves to take her medicine!! Since her liver is underdeveloped her kidneys are picking up the slack and loves to drink water. A lot of water!! Despite her little medical thing she’s a great puppy and has learned to sit and loves to play outside. She loves going on walks and all the toys she can find. Definitely needs doggie sisters in her forever home. Urgent plea from local shelter for this sweet girl. They think she suffered a brain injury that has led to blindness. She was reported by citizens to have been having a seizure and they were trying to cool the puppy off. When the puppy was brought to shelter she had a temp of 99 degrees. Her right front leg was swollen. It does not appear to be broken but they we watching closely. We have her in our care, bear with us while we make sure she is getting all the care needed to become the happy pup she deserves. Here I am! My name is Maisie and I am about 2 ½ years old and weighed 40 pounds when I was found. I am so sweet and have an awesome personality despite all the pain I have been through. I am great with other dogs and kids. Maisie was hit by a car and brought to the shelter. She sat in the shelter for two weeks not being able to walk, at two weeks she started to stand up and walk again but still needed immediate care. We found her and immediately brought her to get checked out further; poor girl has been dealing with a broken pelvis and crushed colon. The specialists are determining the best course of action for her; so she is on her way to feeling so much better. All Dallas DogRRR adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption.
