Dolly V6

Dolly loves you already — and you’ve only just met through a picture. How can you resist Dolly, just look into those soulful eyes! She is a loving girl and she will let you know when you absolutely need to pet her. As the snuggle bug she is, she likes to curl up or stretch out next to you and her best doggie friend at night, or anytime you sit down on the couch. Dolly loves other dogs and would be lonely if she was an only dog. She loves to have a best friend to play with, roughhouse with, play chase with, go outside with, and take naps with – after all, all this is no fun by oneself. She loves to go for walks and her leash manners are getting better with every walk. Dolly loves her chew toys and kid’s toys too, if they are lying around. She is great with little kids, as tested on a 3 and 5 year old who are all over her and in her face - those soft ears of hers are just too hard to resist, you just have to play with them. All Dallas DogRRR adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. The standard minimum donation for puppies is $300, dogs over 12 months is $200 and for our senior dogs $100. Dorado Rico

Male Adult Jack Russell Terrier Miniature Pinscher (mixed)

Here's Dorado's Story Chapter 1 Once upon a time... that's how all stories begin; right? Well, we don't know how his story actually starts or what his young life was like before...but keep reading!!! Chapter 2 "Little boy lost & found" This sweet boy was found wandering the streets of Puerto Rico, surviving all by himself for months... after a category 4 hurricane devastated his home. He is people friendly & luckily for him, he wandered up to Dallasdogrrr rescuers outside of a burrito stand. It was obvious that this sweet boy used to be somebody's buddy. Most of the "lost dogs" of Puerto Rico were running around in small packs in order to survive but this little 17 pound guy was all alone...bone thin, partially hairless, obviously hungry & totally scared...we named him Dorado & gave him the last seat (someone's lap) on the transport plane back to Texas. He is currently in foster care & doing amazing. His hair is growing back, he no longer has to search for food or defend himself against the elements or other dogs. He is remembering what it is like to be part of a family again...to be loved & cherished, to be petted & scratched instead of being kicked & shooed away. He is learning that he can count on humanity again. He is a great fit for a stay at home person or retired couple... he doesn't seem to enjoy cats but really loves humans in general...also kid-friendly. He does well with other dogs outside & on walks in the park but would rather be the only doggo at home. He is super smart & in just a few days has learned the commands: Sit, Sit-Stay & Find It! He continues to learn every single day. Like alot of dogs he doesn't like to be left alone... dogs, unlike us, don't realize that their people will actually come back. So, what will Chapters 3,4,5 &6 be for Dorado? Won't you consider being part of his journey and write more chapters in his amazing story? He deserves his Happy Ending! All Dallas DogRRR adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. This beautiful black lab is so sweet and begging for love and attention, she wants to make up for all that time she didn't get any. She is so sweet, he coat is so shiny. You will love this girl. She weighs about 40 pounds, we will be confirming her age shortly but current guess is about 2 years old. Another heart-wrenching story from Puerto Rico. Its been over a year but PR is still reeling from the effects of Hurriance Maria. The number of homeless dogs is so far gone. Everywhere you look another one. It has become a way of life there now. Dosha is a beautiful, young, black lab who has lived next to a highway most of her life. She had a litter of puppies but no one was able to find them. She protected herself in a corner between the highway and the seawall. Luckily someone saw her and was able to get her and ensure she didnt have to fight for her life ever again. All Dallas DogRRR adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Dottie is such a sweet, gorgeous gal. She was found with her kittens in an antique car a family had in their shop at home. Due to the age of the kittens (estimated to 2-3 weeks old when found), we are pretty certain she took them there seeking shelter after she already birthed them. The family went out of town and locked up their shop, unknowingly locking Dottie and her babies inside for several days. She had no food or water but remained with them, doing her best to care for them while she struggled to provide enough milk to keep them alive. We are not certain the cause of death of the kitten who was found deceased but lack of nutrients was likely the cause. Dottie was so tired and dehydrated when found, she willingly allowed her finders to pick her and her kittens up to take them to safety. She has been in foster care since April 18th and her foster family is so impressed with her. She greets them with a purr and bounds towards them each time they enter the room, waiting for rubs and love. She uses the litter box and takes treats gently. Dottie is an exceptional gal who deserves nothing but the best. All Dallas DogRRR adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. The standard minimum donation for kittens is $175 and for Adult calts (1 year and older) is $125. Please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process. Emery came to the rescue from a chihuahua hoarding situation. All 40 dogs were being brought to a local shelter for surrender. A rescuer noticed the car load and has tirelessly worked to place them in rescue/foster homes so they can be evaluated and found loving homes. Sweet Emery was pregnant, we nursed her and her two pups through delivery and vaccines. All are doing well and are ready for adoption. They are all just as cute and sweet as can be. Please note little Emery has been through a lot and will need time to adjust to life in a loving home; she has never had any of the luxuries of her own bed, her own bowl of food, her own attention. Sweet Emery has come a long way from her hoarded days. She is still shy but has made strides to trust her humans again. We are so proud of her and we hope to find her a family that will love with her and work with her to continue her progress. You wont be disappointed as you see her grow and trust everyday. All Dallas DogRRR adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption.
