Admiral is a handsome fellow, both blind and deaf but his handicaps do not hold him back.  He is loving and inquisitive and enjoys feeling the wind in his fur and the sun on his face.  Admiral needs a very special home. Blind and Deaf but he doesn’t let that define him! He is playful, cuddly, loving, trusting, goofy, handsome, and searching for his forever home - someone special to love him, care for him, and be patient with him. Admiral is such a good boy. He’s low maintenance and such a happy boy.  So sweet and soft and looking for his furever home! Admiral is adjusting amazingly well in his foster home, since found, in shelter, 12 hour transport he was a little confused on what was going on but with quick learning techniques from foster to help Admiral relax and get comfortable; he is thriving and loving the safe life!  He's even enjoying outside play time; playing with other resident dogs...what an amazing, resilent dog.  You would barely know he is blind; he gets around so well and has this amazing instinct. Admiral was found dumped in a yard, he looked bad at first sight, finders didn't know if someone had done this to him.  After a thorough vet check, it seems he may have been attacked by dogs.  As best we can tell he is blind and deaf, but he is sweet and adjusting very well.  He is around 4 years old and 55 pounds.   All Dallas DogRRR adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption.  The standard minimum donation for puppies is $300, dogs over 12 months is $200 and for our senior dogs $100.  You can view all the adoptable pets and fill out an adoption application online on our website at http://dallasdogrrr.org.  For more information, you can email adopt@dallasdogrrr.org. Look at that SMILE! She is looking FANTASTIC! Her blood work looks AMAZING! She is finally feeling SAFE and SECURE!  While this sweet girl has had a horrific life thus far, she is being pampered now!  You can begin to see the smile emerge and the light in her eyes and we couldn't be happier knowing she is comfortable and safe.  While her skin is raw and still slightly infected; you know she feels 100% better. She is doing well and a true sweetheart❤️.  All she wants to do is snuggle, give kisses and play.  She just wants to be close to her family (pups and people alike) all the time.  She is starting to show more fur on her ears, shoulders and back of her feet.  This is one happy little girl now! Amora was struggling to survive on the streets of Texas. She was so severely neglected that she was on the verge of death.  She wandered onto a stranger's yard who called us for help! She was covered head to toe in blood sucking ticks. So many ticks that there were parts of her body you couldn’t even see. That includes her ears, chest, back, and paws. She was so anemic that she could barely stand. We rushed her to the vet where she received life saving care and blood transfusion. Autumn, saved in the nick of time.  Sweet little one was in loud kennel by herself about to give birth to 10 puppies.  When a saint came along to bring her home to the peace and quiet of their home for her to have her babies.  Puppies were born on October 16, 2017.  Momma took good care of her babies and all have been adopted and living the high life.  Autumn is ready to find her furever home now.  She is very sweet and calm.  She is a bit shy at first, it takes her a little time to warm up to her surrounding, we are thinking she had a pretty rough life up to her arrival in the shelter.  But with your patience and love, in turn you will get a loyal and loving companion. Autumn is around 4 years old and 45 pounds.  She is so sweet and has learned how to become a dog and enjoy life now with the comforts of a good home. All Dallas DogRRR adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. The standard minimum donation for puppies is $300, dogs over 12 months is $200 and for our senior dogs $100. Bambi is a sweet snuggle bug.  She just wants to be by her hooman all the time! This beautiful momma was left behind not once she was left behind twice!  She was an owner surrender with her puppies the owner knew there was a chance she could be euthanized but they left her anyway.  Then a rescue came in and rescued her puppies and left her behind.  Then a litter of husky puppies came in the shelter and they used her to nurse them and mom was once again left behind when another rescue took them. She was a code red mama dog with no puppies.  She didn't deserve to be left behind that many times.  We have named her Bambi and intend on making sure her new smile never leaves!  She is a sweet girl and exudes happiness now that she is free. All Dallas DogRRR adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Look how hunky and handsome I am! This boy is the absolute sweetest.  He lives for face scratches...and food!  He was extremely underweight but has been steadily gaining weight.  His skin is improving, and his low back/hips seem to be feeling better because he is attempting to play and can now get up on the couch.  He just wants love and attention...and a comfortable place to rest his head. Dog friendly (with medium to large dogs), people friendly, kid friendly, house trained, crate trained.  He's a little 'too interested' in cats and small dogs. Barber is a sweet eight-year-old Rottweiler mix that came into a local shelter as a stray on 10/15. Just look into his eyes and you can tell that he’s sad and longing for a good home. Barber has some hair loss down the the center of his back and his tail. He also is slightly arthritic in his back legs. Judging from the calluses on his elbows he has probably spent most of his life outside. This sweet, sweet senior needs to be out of the shelter and on to a better life than he’s obviously known so far. I absolutely fell in love with this precious boy and I know you will too. He is very calm and gentle and chooses to stay close to his human friend. He is very loving. He gives kisses. He sits for treats. He wants to please. He appears to be house trained. He went nose to nose wagging his tail with other dogs in the bay. He was not interested in meeting the cats. Barber is waiting to go home with you.
