Hi my name is Bach! I came up north late February and I have been with my foster family for a couple days now. I am quite little weighing in at just 20lbs at 4 months old. I may be little but I have plenty of energy and I am always on the move. I love to bounce around and play with my toys. I even give little play rumbles and grumbles when I roll around with my stuffies. I love kids and other dogs. My furry foster brother is my idol. I follow him around everywhere and just want to do everything he does. I give lots of kisses to my humans and crawl straight in their lap any chance I get. My two legged foster sister is 8 years old and she's really good at snuggles. I like her. I am very smart and learned very quickly to go potty outside. I may get into puppy trouble as I try to jump on everything and explore the world but I’m so cute you can hardly be mad! I am a very loving and gentle soul and I look forward to finding my forever family.    The musical pups are listed by the vet as hound mixes but likely have some terrier mixed in. They will be medium to large sized dogs when fully grown. They are currently in a New England foster home without cats.   Please note: We do not have a physical facility and the dogs are not located in Hudson, NH. We are a foster-based rescue and dogs can be located anywhere in New England. All adopters must be pre-approved to arrange a meet and greet, and the adopter is expected to travel to the dog's location. We do not transport once the dogs arrive in New England. Applications must be submitted at HarveysHope.org for consideration. We estimate it will be 1-2 weeks before you hear from one of our volunteers. Thank you!  show less

Bambi is approx. 8 years old and is looking for her permanent forever home. She really dislikes having her picture taken- we promise she is happy! This 55lb mama gave birth in Texas to a litter of puppies who were eaten alive by fire ants. Her one surviving pup, Flower, was adopted and now that Bambi has completed her heartworm treatment, she eagerly awaits a home of her own. Bambi is good with other dogs smaller than her once proper introductions are completed. She would do best in a home with another submissive dog or as the only dog getting all of the loving. She would not do well with cats. She is unable to be tested with children at this time. Bambi is learning some basic manners with our South Carolina boarding partner while she waits for her forever!    Please note: We do not have a physical facility and the dogs are not located in Hudson, NH. Meet Benny! He is somewhere between 11-12 years old, 15-20lbs, and looking for his forever home. The vet believes he is some sort of hound, or maybe beagle, mix. Recently, Benny had an episode and we were informed he has a heart condition. His heart is enlarged but surgery is not an option at his age. From his foster mom: "Benny is one of the sweetest boys ever! Whoever adopts him will fall in love. He does have a little separation anxiety, and will bark for a while when left alone, even with other dogs in the house with him. He lets it be known he is not content without a human nearby. He is very loyal and bonds easily. When you leave him and return, he likes to vocalize his happiness for your return- he moans and groans while happily wagging his tail. He gets along well with all the other dogs and cats on my property. He is forever grateful for the teeth cleaning and dental. He has healed from the removal of 11 teeth, but is capable of eating dry dog food, but really prefers a little canned food or yogurt added to his plate. He either sleeps in the bed with me or on the couch at night. If I take him to the barn with me, he follows every step I take, until he figures out I am not going to run off and leave him, then he relaxes and lays around either in the shade or sun. Benny is a great car buddy. He enjoys going for half mile or 50 mile rides, as long as someone will give him an ear rub every now and then. He is ok with older kids, men, women and cats." Benny has arrived in New England and is ready for his forever home! Please note: We do not have a physical facility and the dogs are not located in Hudson, NH. Blizzard is a 5 year old husky and weighs about 55 lbs. He loves to be outside, and is excited to run around, but quickly settles down in the house. He is very affectionate and is always happy to give kisses and receive pets, or to chase a ball and play with dog toys. Blizzard is working on house training, but is crate trained and walks well on a leash. He is quickly learning basic commands and is a fast learner, especially when treats are involved!   Blizzard’s ideal family will be active and walk or hike with him at least twice a day. He would also make a good running buddy. The home will have an active dog for Blizzard to play and run with, and a large yard with 6ft fencing. While his first response is to be tough with other dogs, once he sees the dog won't play until he backs off, he settles right in—and it is important that he has a playmate. His future family will have dog-savvy kids, or a kid-free home, with no small animals that he would want to chase, and will understand that Blizzard is a vocal Husky. Blizzard’s adopter(s) will also understand how important it is for him to continue and be consistent with his training program. He has entered a 6-8 week board and train program and will be available for meets around April, but you can get pre approved to be his new family today!   Please note: We do not have a physical facility and the dogs are not located in Hudson, NH. Brahms is just too sweet and loves jumping in your lap and giving you lots of kisses. He’s also very playful and loves his toys. He’s always trying to get his brother Mozart and my dog to play with him. As soon as he met my dog, they were kissing through the gate and have been playing nonstop since. Except when it’s nap time and they cuddle together. He’s very smart and learned how to sit just from watching my dog and realizing it gets him treats. Now he loves to show off his “sitting”. He’s very curious and tries to be a part of everything you’re doing. He’s still working on his house training but with a little help, he’ll get there. My dog is trying to teach him. He’s been sleeping in his crate through the night and even when he’s woken up at night, he’s laid there and quietly played with his toys until he falls back asleep. When he’s in your lap, he loves belly rubs. This guy is gonna make some family very happy. -From his foster mom!   The Classical Music pups are approx. 4-5 mo old. They are listed by the vet as hound mixes but likely have some terrier mixed in. Hi! I'm Buddy! I was a local owner surrender that they hold Harvey's I had worms. Come to find out, it was heartworm disease. Harvey's Hope did not hesitate and immediately started treatment. I'll be ready for adoption mid February. I need to stay within 45min of my overseeing vet in Lowell, MA due to needing bloodwork in 60 days after my adoption to ensure I am getting better. Harvey's will cover the bloodwork at their vet until I am heartworm negative. The vet thinks I'm a Chi- JRT mix, about 2 years old, and I've rounded out at 19lb (I should be 15, but quarantine and crate rest...). I go right in my crate with a "bedtime" command, I have mastered "sit" for a treat, and I am about 90% potty trained (my treatment was hindering this). My foster home has other dogs (5lb to 50lb) but no kids or cats. I did meet a cat at the groomer and I wanted to go after it, so no cats for me. I also met an 8 year old girl there and she liked to snuggle so I really liked her. I can be very weary of new people and fast movements with a tendency to fear bite, so please no little kids or chaotic households. I am a heavy notification barker so apartments, attached condos, duplexes etc would not be ideal for me. I am a serious creature of habit and I do NOT like missing a meal. I will absolutely let you know if you get off schedule by a few minutes and cry until you make my breakfast or dinner. I'd like a laid back house that enjoys playing ball once in a while (because I am really good at it when I get zoomies), is consistent with crate training, has lots of toys, definitely blankets, and knows how to manage a little dog's diet because I could eat til I explode. Even on my worst days feeling like poop, I STILL scream to be fed at 7am and 5pm on the dot. I'm hoping to find my forever home where we can take it slow and really bond. I can be temperamental at times (did I mention I'm part chi?) so my new family really needs to be familiar with my breed and know I will likely never be a social butterfly with new people or dogs. This means I would NOT be good at dog parks, either. I just like routine and my close circle, like a lot. Think we can be best friends forever this time?
