Meet Apple! Apple Bapple is a sweet 8 month old terrier mix full of personality and spunk. She is an energetic and playful puppy who loves to do zoomies around the yard. Apple is doing great with potty training and sleeping through the night. Apple is getting along well with other dogs her size or larger.  She is learning to go on walks. Apple is cat curious and could possibly live with a feline sister or brother.  Apple was found abandoned and rescued, brought here from Texas.  When she feels safe, she warms up to people very quickly.  Apple is whip smart and would enjoyobedience training for her energy and need for direction. Apple is happy she is here in Michigan to find her forever home.  Apple would do well with a family or for an individual or couple who is active. Apple needs a home with safety and love for the rest of her days. Honestly, these pictures don't do her justice.  She is a sweet, gentle lovebug.   The adoption fee is $375.00. All animals are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed/neutered. Due to the number of inquiries received from PetFinder and sites alike, we do not have the capacity to reply to them. Meet Arlow a sweet 9 month old Lab mix! Arlow is a very energetic and playful puppy of medium/high energy.  He LOVES to run around the yard with the other foster dogs in the home and play, play, play!  Once inside he will plop down next to his person and chill.  Arlow does love other dogs, however, because of his high play drive he can sometimes be a bit much and not give the other dogs a break.  Because of this, we sometimes have to separate him from the other foster dogs so they can have some space. If he goes to a home with other dogs, we are recommending the dogs be of his size or larger, as he plays too rough with the little ones.  However, he would need an experienced dog owner or to be the only dog in the home.  Initially, he did resource guard in the foster home.  Since getting comfortable that has mostly been eliminated.  We feed him in his crate.  He is crate trained and goes into his crate when his foster parents leave the home, as he seems to get some separation anxiety and can get into things. However, he stays out all night and sleeps on the couch for bedtime with no issues.  He is potty trained, when on a schedule, he has had very few accidents in the home. Arlow does very well with the three young children in the home. However, he still has not learned his manners and likes to jump up, so a home with older children may be a better fit.  He does know how to sit.  Some training would be very beneficial for him.  Some of the best things about Arlow are that he is a very big love suck and just wants all of your attention.  If you our a couch surfer he will be right by your side.  He is a very good snuggler.  He always has a wiggle butt and looks like he is smiling.  He also really enjoys getting belly rubs, those are his favorite 😊.  He just needs a little more training and patience.  Overall, a very sweet boy looking for his forever home! Meet Ashphalt, a super sweet Border Aussie mix.  The adults call him Aussie, but the 2 year old calls him "Ass" - which is short for Asphalt.   Aussie gets along well with other dogs he is crate and potty trained . He would do best with bigger dogs 30lbs and up because he loves to play and his style may be a little rough for the littles . He does love walks and does well on car rides . No cats    Aussie can be suspicious of strangers and is very protective of children, so it would be best if you have children that you have a low or medium traffic home because he does watch every stranger closely when it comes to kids . He warms up faster to new people that are welcome in the home, but has a harder time meeting groups of people outside of the home . We have been working on this and he is coming along nicely . Aussie is super smart and a wonderful dog, and in the right home he will thrive and be an amazing and loyal companion . We absolutely love having him here! Would need another dog in the home  The adoption fee is $360.00. All animals are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed/neutered. **PLEASE READ ENTIRE BIO** Meet Chives, a 10 year old English Bulldog, looking for somewhere cozy to spend his golden years. All he really wants in life is his back scratched, a full belly, and a comfortable bed.  Chives has cataracts in both eyes and cannot see well; he requires daily eye cleanings and eyedrops. Because he doesn’t see well he startles easy and his new family will need to be sure to verbally alert him to wake him up instead of using physical touch to wake him.  Chives also requires daily supplements for bladder incontinence, as well as daily vitamin supplements for his skin and joints. He will also need to remain on his current food, Royal Canin Bulldog. Chives moves at his own slow pace and can be stubborn at times, so he will need a family with patience and no expectation of him being a walking partner. He will vocalize when he is unhappy and doesn’t want to do something, and needs space/time to “get over it”. He is crate trained, but can be reactive when shutting the door and to sudden noises while crated.  He does well overall going potty outside, but does have bladder incontinence - it is most noticeable overnight, but does have occasional accidents inside the house during the day. Because of Chives’ advanced age and health issues he will need a family with children over the age of 16. If there is another dog in the home it will need to be a low energy dog that will respect his boundaries. He will also need a home with minimal stairs and a fenced yard so he can saunter around at his own pace.  Given the care bulldogs need with their wrinkles, tail pocket, diet, etc. and Chives age and health status, a family with breed experience is required. The adoption fee is $180.00. All animals are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed/neutered. Meet Daisy the sweetest, 1-year-old Lab mix. Daisy is an energetic and playful puppy.  She is fully potty and crate trained.  Daisy responds to basic commands and has great recall with her name.  Daisy loves de-fluffing toys, playing fetch, chewing on her benebone, and snuggeling on the couch.  Daisy would do best in a home with gentle children that can respect her space as she is a little nervous and easily startled.  Since being with her foster, Daisy has warmed up to the resident dogs, and appears dog friendly.  She is good with both dogs that are larger and smaller than her. She seems to match their energy when they're energetic versus when they're calm and just want to lay around so she would probably do fine with another high energy or even older dog. Daisy shows no signs of reactivity when it comes to food, toys, or her crate.  Daisy would do best with a fenced in yard, as this girl loves to run and chase birds and rabbits.  The adoption fee is $75.00. All animals are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed/neutered. Due to the number of inquiries received from PetFinder and sites alike, we do not have the capacity to reply to them. Meet Dolly! She is a young Mom (2 years old) who took the best care of her 5 kittens born outside this past March. She was underweight, scared and so protective of her kittens when she first came to her foster Mom but has since warmed up and is able to relax now that she knows people can be trusted and good to her and her babies. She craves attention now, loves sitting next to you, giving head bumps and getting her back rubbed and chin scratches. She's learning to play now and she loves to talk to you when she sees you. She is highly treat motivated and seems ready to explore. She's ready to settle into a great home, with people who will show her the patience and  love she finally deserves after living her first few years outdoors. Dolly would do best in a calmer, quiet environment, with older children and without other animals where she can live and give love on her terms. I know she will grow to love her humans as she did with her foster Mom and Dad. She seeks you out when she wants your attention.  She's adjusting beautifully to her new life with many changes after giving birth and now living indoors. She's only going to continue to grow when she finds her furever people and indoor home. Can you find a place in your heart and home for sweet Dolly to live out her best life?  Dolly has been sterilized, combo tested, age appropriately vaccinated and microchipped. Meet El Guapo aka Guapo, which means "the handsome" in Spanish.  And handsome he is! Guapo is a 4 year old mastiff mix.  He seems to be laid back and of low energy.  He likes to run around and play for about 5 minutes and then wants to lay down.  He is a work in progress, as he is timid.  He does not like loud sounds and can be unsure of men.  He will follow his person around the house.  He does get along with other dogs, but wants to be the alpha of the pack, so he may do best as an only dog in the home, or slow introductions. He does get along with children, but due to his size,  a home with no children or older children 13+ would be best.  He is not quite potty trained, as he does try to mark furniture sometimes, we are working on that.  An owner with previous mastiff experience would also be best.  If he does not want to go somewhere he will simply plop down and not move. He also will need the occasional wiping of drool dangling from his mouth, as all mastiffs do! He does have some medical conditions.  He has some hip dysplasia, he is also underweight, but is already gaining. He loves to be petted and loved on.  He will push his body against you to show you affection and that he wants to be petted.  Overall, he seems to be a sweet boy that needs a patient owner that will help him come out of his shell.  He is looking for his forever home!  The adoption fee is $75.00 All animals are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed/neutered.
