Hi, My name is Astrid. I am a 5 month old White German Shepherd Dog, with maybe a hint of lab in there somewhere. Who knows. I was rescued when I walked up to an office building in Houston, terrified and hoping someone helped me. I am looking for a forever home that will spoil me by: giving me toys and bones to chew on, taking me for walks, and letting me sleep upside down (it's my favorite). I love playing with other dogs, and despite my size, I have spunk and can hold my own against my foster brothers and sisters who are much bigger than I am. I would like an adopter that will contine working with me on training and manners. I am learning them now, and doing pretty well. My foster momma wants to make sure I know how to behave like a lady should. By knowing how to behave, I will make a great addition to any home. I get along well with other dogs. I haven't really met cats yet, but I have heard the command "leave it" before, so I guess that's what you do with them. I am up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Our adoption process begins with an Adoption Application (which you can do by clicking the blue ADOPT button above). Personal references, vet reference, and a home visit are required to complete the adoption process. Adoption fees are due at the time of adoption. Application to adopt does not guarantee adoption or approval. show less

Hi, My name is Miracle. I am a 2 year old Black Lab Mix. I may not be a German Shepherd, but I was rescued by one of the German Shepherd board members, so they call me an "honorary GSD". You see, I was terrified and all alone on the streets of Houston. I could feel the weather getting worse, and someone said a storm was brewing in. I saw a paramedic and asked her for help... that's what you're supposed to do, right? First responders help... Boy am I glad I did. She scooped me up and took me in, and the next day HURRICANE HARVEY hit. I am so glad I wasn't outside for that! But yes, you read that right, Hurricane Harvey, which was a year ago. I've been in foster care for a year! I need my forever home! I am looking for a forever home that will spoil me with a nice yard where I can lay in the sun (hey, a girl has to keep her tan going...) and run and play. I love squeaky toys and stuffed toys. And I am a fan of cramming myself into the small dogs' beds! I am super affectionate and sweet, and I love to play with other dogs. I do not like cats though, I try to chase them. I am up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Our adoption process begins with an Adoption Application ( https://www.petstablished.com/adoptio…/personal-information… ).
