Cody is a sweet, gentle 9-week old kitten. He has two sisters - Mia and Molly. These three precious tiger kittens were rescued from the outside in the recent freezing cold weather in Barnegat Light, NJ. They are being lovingly raised in a “foster family” there. Cody and his sisters are still a little timid but are rapidly learning to trust and bond with humans. They are playful, affectionate, adorable, sweet, and well behaved. His sisters look very much like him but with slightly different primary colors. It would be preferable to place Cody with one of his siblings or if he must be placed singly, in a home with another kitten or young cat. Cody has been neutered, vaccinated, Feleuk/FIV negative, de-wormed, and micro-chipped. He needs a quiet home with no young children. His adopter(s) must be gentle, understanding and experienced with young kittens. Cody and /or his siblings can be transported to the southern NJ area or to the Philadelphia region for a wonderful home. Sadly, Gracie didn’t have the greatest start in life. Abandoned when her heartless owner moved away and left her behind in a cold dark basement with no food or water. Gracie was terrified. A kind neighbor heard of Gracie’s plight and rescued Gracie from the empty house. It took some time for Gracie to get adjusted but with plenty of tender loving care and patience, she has blossomed into a sweet adorable loving kitty. Due to her traumatic past, Gracie can be nippy once in a while. For this reason, she would be best in a quiet home with no children and no other pets. Gracie is loving, playful and litter–trained. She is fully vaccinated, Feleuk/FIV negative, spayed, and examined by a veterinarian. Lucy was adopted from a kill shelter with her mom-cat and sister. The adopters relegated all three cats to a backroom where they slept - each night - in a cage. The family had young children that treated them like toys-frightening them. Lucy lived in a constant state of fear for six months. Once when the children picked her up roughly, she swiped and one of the children was scratched on the face. The family decided to have Lucy declawed on all four paws and have her teeth filed down. THAT NEVER HAPPENED... The shelter heard about the plan and volunteers rescued Lucy from this horrible fate. After one week in a quiet, loving foster home, it was obvious that Lucy started to relax. Gradually, she realized she could trust people. Feeling that she was finally safe, her loving self emerged and she was transformed into the adorable, affectionate, playful kitten that she was meant to be. Lucy is about 8 months old, spayed, vaccinated, Feleuk/FIV negative, de-wormed, and micro-chipped. She needs a quiet home with no children. Her adopter(s) must be gentle, understanding and experienced with kittens. Lucy is very smart, loves to play, snuggle, and sit on your lap, but she has to have the opportunity to make her own needs known to you rather than be forced to do things. Angel is the sweetest , cutest little girl in the world. She has a tiny voice (see movie) and quietly meows when she’s happy or wants more attention. She’ll purr immediately if you pet her and she loves to be cuddled. She loves to play with toys – like a toy at the end of a wand or a laser bug light. She’s a lap sitter and loves to be petted. Angel gets along well with other cats. Sometimes Angel is a little timid so her new parents must be patient with her. She will do best in a home without young children or large active dogs. Angel is spayed, vaccinated, de-wormed, and micro-chipped. Our area of adoption is Philadelphia and the surrounding tri-county area as well as Southern New Jersey and the NJ shore.
