Baxter is a 3 year old Jack Russell Terrier mix. He has great hair!! All his vet work is done and he is ready to roll! He is extremely sweet and loving with his owner and is always ready for a tummy rub and a hug. Baxter walks well on a leash. He's super duper cute. He's great with people, friendly and playful. He enjoys running around in the yard and looking for varmints! Baxter will keep you safe from lizards, frogs, gophers, moles, and pesky squirrels. Like all JRTs, he wants to "get after things”. In order to adopt Baxter you need JRT experience. If you have never had one he will not be a good fit for you. He will need a securely fenced yard and an owner who can give him a lot of attention and positive reinforcement. If you are gone 8 hours a day he is not going to be a good fit in your home. Braveheart!!! What a great dog!!! This little guy is about three years old and is an extremely well bred Jack Russell Terrier. He is super healthy and has had all vet work done. Braveheart is in the prime of his life and he needs a Jack Russell savvy owner. If you have never had a Jack Russell before, he is not the right dog for you. If you are gone all day, he is not the right dog for you. Braveheart needs to be an ONLY DOG. He does not get along with others. He will not tolerate cats or any other critters. Also...no kids. Like all well bred JRT’s he is easily stimulated and very excitable. He needs a lot of exercise and attention from someone who will love him forever. Braveheart needs a securely fenced backyard and an owner who is home at least part of the time. He also needs a lap to sit in and someone to snuggle with. Daisy is a very sweet and affectionate dog who has been abused so she is a little skittish - but oh, so willing to please! Daisy is about 3 years old and is vaccinated and spayed. Her weight is 30 pounds. She is a light heart worm positive and will be fine with a monthly heartgard. She gets along with other dogs and cats. She wants to play and has lots of energy. She walks very well on a leash and usually comes when she is called. I keep some hard bones around for her since she likes to chew and we're working together to eliminate her happy/excited urination. She is very smart so I expect to get that worked out pretty quickly. She is used to sleeping nearby on the floor in our bedroom and has integrated quite well with our dogs. We already have three large dogs and although I would love to keep her we are unable to do so. In the right home she will make a joyful addition with her sunny disposition and sweet loyalty, but she must be treated with kindness and patience since she bears traits that someone was not too kind to her in the past. For the family or person who can invest a little patience and attention there will be ample rewards from this sweet girl! Dash and Patch are looking for a loving new home! Dash is a very sweet smooth coated male Jack Russell Terrier. He is 12 years old but he is still excited and enthusiastic about life. He weighs about 22 pounds, he is neutered and has had all of his vaccinations this year. Dash is chill just hanging with you at the house or super happy to go on walks. He is very affectionate and huggable. Of course he loves to be petted and told what a good boy he is. Dash is a very friendly dog, he is great with adults and other dogs. Dash is a little afraid of rain storms. The ideal home would be for him to have a nice secure yard that he can play and explore in. Patch is an 11 year old female Jack Russell who is spayed and up to date on her immunizations. She's a very sweet dog who is a bit skittish and shy at first then becomes friendlier as she becomes more comfortable around you. She is Dash’s best friend and daughter. If Dash and Patch are adopted together then they will adjust and feel secure that they are together. I'm rehoming them because I live in a mobile home that has no fence and I work 2 jobs. It is not fair to keep them confined to a crate for over 8 to 12 hours a day on days I have to work at my part time. Patch is a sweet dog and loves her tummy to be rubbed. Meeko needs a home!! He is not a full Jack Russell as he is about 35 pounds. He is approximately 1 year and 2 months old. He is neutered, microchipped, on heartworm preventative, and up-to-date on shots. He is also fully house trained. He has some separation anxiety - which he is currently medicated for - so I believe he would do best in a home with someone who is home often (stay-at-home parent, someone who works from home, retiree, etc). He would love to have another dog to play with, and a securely fenced yard where he can really run. He is overall just happy to be near you, and will cuddle with you all day long if you let him. He loves all people and other dogs. Meeko will do great with kids over 8 years old. He is very trainable and smart. He catches on to new things very quickly. Here’s Pete!!! He is a 1 ½ year old neutered male who loves to play with other dogs. He’s smart, energetic, playful, loyal, funny, engaging, and adorable. He needs a securely fenced yard and an owner who is home at least part of the day. If you were going to be gone eight or nine hours a day and want to leave him crated he is not the dog for you. He also cannot stay alone in the yard all day by himself. He would love another dog to play with. He gets along with everyone but in the long run a female dog would probably be the best fit. Any breed would work great for Pete. Pete is up to date on his vaccinations as of September 2018. He is housebroken and crate trained. He likes to be with his people when he’s indoors. He’s either in someone’s lap or in his nest near the TV. He enjoys walks and greets other dogs enthusiastically. He walks well on a leash but can pull pretty strongly for a few minutes starting out. He enjoys riding in the car. He has had other training from a previous owner but responds inconsistently. With some patience from his new family, he can pick up common commands beyond sit and stay. Pete’s yard should have a minimum six foot fence since he’s excited by wildlife and dogs walking by. Spud needs a new home. I recently went through a divorce and can no longer care for my Jack Russell with my work schedule. I work 10-12 hour days and that is no life for my fur baby. He is cooped up in an apartment and needs room to roam like a JRT should. He is now 7 years old. We adopted him when he was a pup. We named him Spud because he has a patch over his eye like Spuds MacKenzie. He is a house trained/potty trained JRT. He loves going for walks and absolutely loves to sunbathe. He is in good health, weighing in at about 25 pounds. He is current on all his shots and is on a heartworm preventative. We would not feel comfortable adopting him out to anyone with another male dog. Voyage is crate trained and leash trained, but will need patience when it comes to the house training. Say hello to Whiskey! Whiskey is a sweetheart of a dog! He will be 3 years old in June of 2019 and weighs about 40-45 pounds. He is neutered and up to date on all his shots and on heartworm prevention monthly. Whiskey gets along with all the other dogs in the house (all are males) except for our dog Max. Max doesn’t like Whiskey so they have to be separated. Whiskey also gets along with female dogs. Whiskey even likes cats! He is sweet and a little shy until he gets to know you. He will nuzzle up against you once he does, and wants to be loved on. He loves to love! He knows to sleep at the foot of the bed, but also loves his kennel time. He also does very well on a leash and he is house trained. He loves storms and really loves to ride in the truck. He sits like a perfect gentleman in the seat. He is a good boy and will share his food. When we eat dinner, he sits and watches us and is such a good boy, never trying to get our food! Whiskey has been around young children and did very well and he likes every adult he meets. We are dog lovers and have rescued several dogs that we found as strays and are needing to find a home for some of the rescues we have taken in.
