About Barry

Barry was transferred to us from another rescue because the existing dog in his foster home did not get along with him. We were told he is 5 years old, but based on his teeth, our vet thinks he's closer to 7 years old. When he first arrived, we noticed that he had a persistent cough that wasn't getting better. After a few tests with our vet specialist, we were told he may have some scarring on the lungs which is causing the cough. He is currently on medication that seems to be helping, but it may be a life-long issue for him. Despite his ailment, Barry adores receiving human attention and is content resting on a lap. He always has a happy tail and does well on short walks. He also does just fine with other dogs. We hope there's a special person out there who would be willing to take good care of Barry and give him the loving forever home he deserves.
