About Dodger

This stunning Maine Coon girl is gentle, sweet, affectionate, smart, playful and highly-social! Dodger loves the company of other cats - especially her sister, Brandi (with whom she's very bonded). One of her favorite places to hang out seems to be the kitchen - where the food is. She'll let out a cute, little "meow" and flutter that majestic, plume-like tail as she stands over the food bowl. But really, what she's asking for is to be pet... and if you really want to make friends with her, bring out the brush! Dodger also LOVES to play "tag" with one of our male kitties and it's very funny to watch - because when she plays, it's with complete abandon. Don't let that shy, demure first impression fool you, this cutie is a Tomboy at heart! This silly girl also started opening the cabinet under the kitchen sink, sniffing around until she finds a used sponge. Then, she pulls is out and tried to carry it away - like it's her 'catch'! It was in late September of 2016, when Dodger was only around 2 months old, when she and her siblings were rescued from the streets. Her feral Mama was living off scraps from customers and employees near a busy Taco Truck. Dodger and her sister, Brandi, went to live with their foster family and it was such a great match, they decided to adopt them. Sadly, due to financial hardship, they had to move out of State and weren't sure when they'd have a home, again, so the two sisters were returned back to us. *Be sure to watch her adoption video. Additionally, Dodger has been: * Spayed, * Vaccinated, * Combo-tested, * Flea treated, * De-wormed, * Micro chipped, * And given a clean bill of health! ~ $125. adoption fee, adoption contract and home check apply / $200. for a pair! ~ We do not adopt out kittens or cats where they will be the only pet at home. Please keep in mind that kittens rely on each other for emotional support and continued social and behavioral development. They will get lonely being left alone for many hours. Having a companion will keep your cat/kitten happy, healthy and out of trouble. We offer a discount when adopting a pair! Interested in becoming a much-needed foster? Please let us know. Abbott was born in May of 2011, in the attic of a home in Sherman Oaks, CA. He and his brothers were only around 4 or 5 weeks-old, at the time. They had fallen through the floor and landed behind a wall in the living room! The homeowners ended up cutting an opening in the wall to get them out! Although Abbott received the same amount of socialization and play time, as his brothers, he never fully tamed and remained on the shy, scared side. When it comes to the other male cats, in the house however, Abbott is probably the most popular... always in the center of the attention. All the others love to play, wrestle, cuddle and sleep with Abbott! This handsome fella is playful, smart, and affectionate with a coat that's shiny like silk. His build is lean and muscular. Abbott is also very social around his favorite human (me) and LOVES to jump on to the bed to play with stringy toys. Once he gets going, he plays with complete abandon. His weakness is freeze-dried Chicken treats and will gently eat them from your finger tips or even your lips. But if he thinks you're going to touch or pick him up he may run. He knows his name and communicates like any other cat - that's connected to a human... except in the areas of touch. Please... won't you give this deserving boy a loving home? He'd make an excellent companion for another friendly, playful, young male (or two). *The video uploaded was shot when he was still a young kitten... but you can see how sweet and gentle he is. ~ $125. adoption fee, adoption contract and home check apply / $200. for a pair! ~ We do not adopt out kittens or cats where they will be the only pet at home. From the moment you meet Alejandro, you'll be struck with his instant, outgoing and loving personality. He's likely to make you feel like he's been waiting all day for you to walk in the door! It's difficult to describe him without introducing you to his sister, Rhiannon. Both of their motors begin, immediately... actually, Alejandro's goes so fast - it can sound like a hovering helicopter! If you bend over, for even a moment, he's likely to jump on your back... and may even climb around on to your shoulder - when you stand up. AND... the moment you sit down, they'll both jump in to your lap and vie for the closest spot next to you... often settling for side-by-side pet sessions - that can last up to 15 minutes, at a time. And the moment you meet Rhiannon you'll see what a perfect pair they make... not only in their coat colors and markings but how equally sweet, silly, feisty, affectionate and highly-social she is. And these two are NASCAR fast! You'll soon discover this by tossing a toy or furry mouse and watch them dive for it, usually carrying it back in their mouths. And these two don't leap, they FLY... with such grace and ease! And house flies? I'd say their fly-catching level is EXPERT. The moment they spot a bug, they go into hunt mode and lock on their prey with laser-like precision. This will, usually, be accompanied by adorable fast chatter sounds (or barking). Do they sound like CHARACTERS? They ARE!!! If you notice a little "yellowing" of the fur under Alejandro's chin, it's from Rhiannon suckling on his neck. This is something she's done since they were tiny babies... whenever they cuddle and begin to settle in for a nap. These two are very similar in spirit, athleticism and personalities. If I was pressed to differentiate between the two; I'd probably say that Rhiannon is a little more independent whereas Alejandro can be on the more sensitive side. They both can be chatty but not at a high volume... just cute chatter that happens mostly during play. Both love to be held or lay in your lap. They'll allow you to clip their claws, come when they're called and Alejandro will even allow you to hold him on his back and rub that pink belly. Be sure to check out their YouTube video and be sure to turn up your speakers! Additionally, both Alejandro and Rhiannon have been: * Spayed/Neutered, * Vaccinated (FVRCP every 3 weeks), * Vaccinated (Rabies), * Combo-tested (for FIV/FeLV), * Flea and Mite treated (with Revolution), * De-wormed (with Strongid, Droncit), * Micro chipped, * And given a clean bill of health! ~ $125. adoption fee, adoption contract and home check apply / ($200 for a pair) ~ Please note: we do not adopt out kittens or cats where they will be the only pet at home. Kittens rely on each other for emotional support and continued social and behavioral development. For example: another kitten or cat will teach them when they're playing too rough or biting too hard. Plus, cats and kittens get very lonely when you're not at home. Having a playmate will keep them happier, healthier and out of trouble. We offer a discount when adopting a pair! *More silly, fun, frolicking kitten footage available by request. ;) show less

Birdie is a gorgeous, fluffy Maine Coon (or similar breed) with Snow Shoe markings. He's complete with the cute tufts of fur sprouting out his ears and between his toe pads. And that FACE?!! Adorable, RIGHT?!! Unfortunately, we don't know a whole lot about Birdie's background since he was saved by a good Samaritan, after he showed up in her yard, with an injury to the end of his tail. He was cautious, at first, probably because of the pain he was in, but he allowed the kind woman to bring him inside. He was quickly taken to the vet where it was determined that his tail could be saved, however, half of it is missing and it required surgery to get rid of any dead tissue and avoid infection. While he was in the hospital, we held a fundraiser, and were able to get him tested for FIV/FeLV (which came back negative), and get him fully vetted. He's also chipped. Now, about Birdie's personality: well... as you can see, by the photos, he likes being on his back... this is his favorite position and he LOVES getting belly rubs!! He was named, Birdie, on account of the sweet "chirping" sounds he makes - just to let you know he's content and happy to see you. He's become VERY bonded with a younger, orange and white kitten, named JT. The two of them have become so bonded that they're inseparable. In fact, little JT has copied all of Birdie's behaviors - including his "chirping". Birdie has a big, 'ol head and LOVES getting scratched all over it, especially under his cute, white chin. I'll be editing and uploading some video footage - so you can see how much of a LOVER BOY Birdie is. Set up an appointment to meet this boy and fall in L-O-V-E ! ! ! Additionally, Birdie has been: * Neutered, * Vaccinated, * Combo-tested (for FIV/FeLV), * Flea and Mite treated (with Revolution), * De-wormed (with Strongid, Droncit), * Micro chipped, * And given a clean bill of health! ~ $125. adoption fee, adoption contract and home check apply / ($200 for a pair) ~ Please note: we do not adopt out kittens or cats where they will be the only pet at home. Beautiful Brandi is one of the most unique cats (kittens) we've rescued to date. She fits all the hallmark descriptions of a rare breed called the "Dragon Li" - including a coat that is dark at the base, orange in the middle, and striped at the tips! And this girl has one of the sweetest dispositions you could ever hope for in a feline companion! She LOVES to cuddle with you like a human baby and will gently climb in to your lap - when you're seated or laying down. Brandi will greet you when you walk in the door with a sweet, inquisitive meow and will want to be in whatever room you're in... including up on the sink while you're brushing your teeth! This silly girl also LOVES to play fetch and grab toys out of the basket. She will even entertain herself by creating games by tossing the toy in the air, chasing it and placing it on a set of stairs or base of the cat tree. Brandi and her litter mates, were trapped out front a Taco Truck in Arleta, CA in August of 2016 - when they were around 8 weeks of age. Their feral Mama was living off scraps from the customers and employees. Brandi and her sister, Dodger (with whom she's been raised) lived with their foster family and they decided they wanted to permanently adopt. Unfortunately, due to financial hardship, they had to move out of State and return the sisters to us. Brandi gets along great with all other cats, and is good around young children, too. *Be sure to check out her Adoption Video! Do you have the heart of a rescuer? This beautiful, young girl showed up as a thin, juvenile - at an office park, hungry and alone in March of 2017. The kind women began feeding Fiona and even bought her a little house and feeding station in the parking lot. When their employer returned from a business trip, he grew angry and wanted Fiona gone. Fortunately, they reached out to us and we were able to take her under our wing. Fiona went to live in a foster home but the woman never made an effort to work with her. Meanwhile, Fiona got along GREAT with all her other cats. I'm listing Fiona as "special needs" because she is still very shy with humans. Fiona is definitely an indoor cat and highly social. She LOVES being in the company of humans but just not likely to be held or touched - unless you have a lot of experience socializing. Her personality with other cats is very playful, loving, sweet and gentle. The perfect home might be one where she can provide companionship to another, friendly cat. Fiona possesses all the hallmarks of the Korat breed and is truly beauty in motion (or while she sleeps!)... and I've got LOTS of photos to back that up. ~ $125. adoption fee, adoption contract and home check apply / $200. for a pair! ~ Fiona has been: * Spayed, * Vaccinated, * Combo-tested, * Flea treated, * De-wormed, * Micro chipped, * And given a clean bill of health. At first, he was very cautious... probably on account of the pain he was in, but he allowed the kind woman to pick him up and bring him safe inside. The two of them became instant besties and are now VERY bonded... actually, they've become inseparable. Gentle Birdie taught JT the ropes of kittenhood and living indoors. JT has copied just about all of Birdie's behaviors from sleeping on his back to the cute "chirping" sounds!
