About Gloria

Gloria is an amazingly sweet girl with a horribly sad story. Gloria belonged to a man in Mexico who decided to try and “dispose” of her when she was no longer wanted. Gloria somehow survived her attack, and was rescued by good Samaritans. When we took her into Pitties and Company, Gloria’s physical injuries had healed, but her heart was very much still broken. Gloria is a sweet, forgiving soul who loves to cuddle up beside you on the couch and gravitates to children. She is gentle and kind, and would do great with a family that is moderately active (she has gotten quite chunky since being rescued!) but she is not an active dog and doesn’t require a lot of exercise to stay happy.

Gloria is learning how to be a dog, and has started showing interest in toys. She really is blossoming into an amazing dog and would do great in most any home. If a sweet, calm, and friendly dog is what you’ve been looking for, then Gloria is your girl! To apply to adopt, please visit
