Meet Bruiser! This guy is little wee 8-pound Chihuahua mix. He was found as a stray but is living the good life in his foster home, as they ready him for his future furever home!
Bruiser is doing extremely well with his house training, and learning how to "sit" currently. He is experiencing new "firsts' in the foster home, such as meeting the house cat, and learning to play with other dogs in the house (which Bruiser enjoys immensely!)
Bruiser loves the company of other dogs, and likes to romp and play in the yard. He’s enjoying his foster’s dogs, and they teach him their ways of being a family pet! His foster mom gets a kick out of watching him take the 80lb dog's giant stuffed toy bear and carry it around as his own! He even seems to prefer it over the other doggy toys lying around!
When it comes to being around his humans, Bruiser could be described as a "velcro dog". He is fully affectionate, giving kisses and cuddling right on top of you! He lives for your attention, and doesn't mind being petted as often as possible! Bruiser is sleeps through the night, and catches on fast when learning new commands. He sometimes stands, and even walks on his hind legs, for food…or just to entertain you!
Sweet Bruiser is ready for his happily-ever-after, whether it is with a family or single owner. He would be a great apartment dog, or in a home with a yard. He could do well as an only pet with the right time and attention given, or thrive as a pack!
