Adopt Dillon

Male German Shepherd Dog /Plott Hound

About

Dillon is a super sweet boy who has had a lot happen in a short period of time. He was dumped at a shelter, taken by a rescue who did nothing to promote him or any of the dogs there so he just sat there day after day inside a cage in the dirt. He ended up going back to the shelter where him and his kennel mate we both pulled by us and gotten to safety.

He at first loved everyone and all the other dogs at events, he went on a sleepover that didn't work out with the other 2 dogs in the house, (a female and male) it was in no way Dillon's fault. However it has left a little bit of a sour taste in sweet Dillon's mouth. We do not believe Dillon needs to be the only dog, We do believe he is being dog selective at this time. A proper introduction will need to be done and the other dog would need to be calm and dog friendly, maybe a submissive female would work well. We feel like he will get over this quickly with the right situation.

We start all of our adoptions with a one week sleepover, so you know everything there is to know before finalizing the adoption.

Adoption Fees for dogs/puppies 6 months old or older: $150
This includes vetting, UTD Vaccinations and spay or neuter

Please note: We are not a shelter. We do not have a kennel or facility that you can visit and see all the Animals. Each Animal is fostered in an individual home. So, you cannot come visit our animals until you have gone through the application and brief phone interview process and then we will schedule a meet and greet with the animal and their foster parents. Then the next step would be a 1 week sleepover, so before finalizing we can all make sure it's a perfect fit. We are all volunteers and do this in our spare time, we do not have set "hours" and we answer all calls and emails as quickly as we can. Thank you so much for your interest in our FUR Babies!
