Adopt George Bailey

Male American Staffordshire Terrier

Introducing George Bailey!! He got his name because his rescue angels Millicent Kirk and her sister said he is going to have a "Wonderful Life" from here on out! They are spoiling him rotten while we look for his forever home. They found him lost after Harvey and took him in. George B. has stunning green eyes, he's about a year old and he weighs about 50 lbs. He is a pit mix but what he really is, is a big, goofy boy who loves to play and give kisses. He's crate trained, potty trained, just an all around great dog. He would be best for a family with older children because he's just so goofy he doesn't know his own strength and could innocently knock a little one down. He would make a great running or cycling buddy, as long as he's with his human. His foster mom said he cries when he's left alone at night because he wants to be near her.

Houston Homeless Pet Project

Shelter Description

Houston Homeless Pet Project ("HHPP")is a core group of dedicated dog rescue volunteers who, between us, have over 50 years of experience in rescue in the Houston metro area. We are the rescue of last resort for those good Samaritans who find homeless dogs and are just trying to help. We are also the rescue of last resort for those hopeless animals that find themselves out of time at local shelters.

We provide rescue care, rehabilitative services, foster care and adoption placement to abandoned and stray dogs in the Houston metro area.

HHPP is an all-volunteer, foster based rescue. We don't have a shelter and rely on foster homes to provide our rescues with warm, loving home environments until they can adopted by permanent families.
