Looking to adopt an amazing new family member? Look no further - meet Missy! Missy is a 10ish year old Pit Bull mix who found herself homeless and in the animal control shelter after her owner became ill and could no longer care for her. Missy spent weeks at the shelter not catching the eye of an adopter amongst a sea of adoptable dogs. Luckily, a City of Elderly Love foster family recognized her amazing personality and sprung into action! Now that she's safe and sound, she's ready to find her forever home!
We could go on and on about Missy, but perhaps we should just let her speak for herself! "Hi, my name is Missy and I love to Netflix and chill, take walks in the neighborhood, and hang out with my foster brothers (human AND canine). My foster mom tells me all the time how sweet I am, and my foster dad calls me "Flubberlips" because I snore louder than him (just kidding)! They say I don't need a crate because I'm housebroken and totally laid back... I'm just really happy to finally be out of the shelter and would love to share the rest of my days with a family who enjoys the same things." Missy lives with other dogs and older kids and would do well in just about any home! She's got lots of love to share with her future family - could it be yours?
Missy is available for adoption through City of Elderly Love. She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped! She is also heartworm and lymes disease negative. Interested in adopting her? Visit www.cityofelderlylove.org to complete an online adoption questionnaire or email us at email@example.com!
