About Kane

Hi there! I'm Kane and everyone says "Oh, he's so good looking". What do you think? I'm about 3 years old so I love to run around and throw my toys in the air and catch them again and I'm pretty good at it! I'm on the smallish side - I'm about 40 pounds and I walk great on a leash - I don't pull I walk right next to the folks walking me. I get to go offsite on Pack Walks with other dogs and that is my favorite thing to do. My Volunteer friends take me in the car - I'm good in the car - and then we walk with all the other pups and its really fun. Sometimes at the shelter with all the noise I get a little too excited and anxious and jump and pull on the leash but once I'm away from all that I do really well. My Volunteer friends take me to training classes and I'm learning how to be really good! The Shelter staff thinks I will do best in a home with teens 15+ and adults who will continue with my training and take me out for some fun exercise.

I'm really a nice boy who just needs a home where I can relax and grow even more confident. I'm learning every day how to be a really fun companion so please consider me! For more information or questions please reach out to my buddy Nora:
