FemaleMixed Breed (Large)

About

"Meet Laurel" She is an adventurer and loves to explore. She is one of the larger pups, and just like her siblings, is very sweet and calm. She loves to tussle and play with her sister, Aspen.

Magnolia's litter of 6 sweet little puppies: There are two boys named Oakley and Linden and four girls named Camellia, Aspen, Willow and Laurel. Their mother is a Large sized mix breed. She is 80lbs plus and their daddy is a mystery. The puppies, at 5 weeks old, weigh between 7½ to 9lbs, so our best guesstimation would be that they'll weigh around 60 to 80 plus lbs when grown. Of course, we can't be certain of that, but they are big strong puppies.

We are taking applications, doing homechecks and will start the meet and greets at which time you can pre-adopt and put down a $50 non-refundable deposit to hold the puppy of your choice. They will be 8 weeks old on October 22nd at which time the remaining $175 can be paid and they can go home.

Our adoption fee is $225 for puppies under 6 months old. They will be up to date on vaccinations as of their adoption, but they'll need additional boosters that will be your responsibility. We wait until 6 months of age to spay/neuter, microchip and administer rabies vaccines because getting them fixed too early can cause more medical problems long term. What we do is called a provisional adoption, which means you can take the puppy home at 8 weeks, but we don't actually finalize the adoption until they are spayed/neutered later. You can get a free spay/neuter at First Coast No More Homeless Pets, or you're welcome to go to the vet of your choice at your own expense. Once they're spayed/neutered, then we finalize the adoption and everything is official.

We ask that you fill out an adoption application before you meet the puppies. Copy and paste this link into your browser, then download the application:

Please note: We are not a shelter. Each animal is fostered in an individual home, and we do not have a kennel or facility that you can visit and see all the animals. Before you visit our animals, we ask you to go through the application and brief phone interview process. We will then schedule a meet and greet with the animal and their foster parents. Every adoption starts with a 1 week sleepover, so before finalizing we can all make sure it's a perfect fit.

We are all volunteers and do this in our spare time, we do not have set hours and we answer all calls and emails as quickly as we can. Thank you so much for your interest in our FUR Babies!
