Tansy is a senior and has had very poor care her whole life which has caused some issues for this sweet tiny baby. Tansy has a jaw that is not fused and she has jaw atrophy. She has had issues with water on her brain and it caused her to be a little slow. She was probably crated her whole life and because of that she has a tendency to turn circles. She will turn circles when taken outside to potty (she should never ever ever be left unattended outside for even a second.) She will come to you and turn circles and that means she wants to be picked up. Really all she wants is somebody to curl up with but somebody who also realizes that she may never be potty trained and that she's never going to do tricks she's just not that kind of dog but she will snuggle and love you. She won't eat anything except chicken and rice. We cut the chicken very tiny. She does not chew, she only laps up her food. She's such a love. Follows you everywhere and always wants to be close to you.
We start all of our adoptions with a one week sleepover, so you know everything there is to know before finalizing the adoption.

Shelter Driving Directions
Please note: We are not a shelter. We do not have a kennel or facility that you can visit and see all the Animals. Each Animal is fostered in an individual home. So, you cannot come visit our animals until you have gone through the application and brief phone interview process and then we will schedule a meet and greet with the animal and their foster parents. Then the next step would be a 1 week sleepover, so before finalizing we can all make sure it's a perfect fit. We are all volunteers and do this in our spare time, we do not have set "hours" and we answer all calls and emails as quickly as we can. Thank you so much for your interest in our FUR Babies!
