Max is looking for a quiet home with lots of love. He came to us after his mama unexpectedly passed away. He was in the home with one other dog that was just a pup. The woman's daughter took her and surrendered Max.
Max is a little older and a bit clingy, his mama was definitely his world. He has had so much happen to him in the last month, his whole world has been turned upside down a couple of times.
He needs a forever home to settle down in and be allowed to get comfortable with a new normal. He is a sweet dog who loves to cuddle up under the covers with his person. He is fine with cats and kids but of course at his age (10 - 11 yrs old) he would mostly just love to hang out and get lots of scratches and love.
If you have been missing a companion in your life Max could be THAT dog for you. He is UTD on shots, preventatives and has been neutered.
We start all of our adoptions with a one week sleepover, so you know everything there is to know before finalizing the adoption.
Adoption Fees for dogs 7 years and older: $100
This includes vetting, UTD Vaccinations and spay or neuter
We ask that you fill out an adoption application before you meet our animals. You can download it here: http://www.floridaurgentrescue.com/adopt

Florida Urgent Rescue Inc

Shelter Driving Directions
Please note: We are not a shelter. We do not have a kennel or facility that you can visit and see all the Animals. Each Animal is fostered in an individual home. So, you cannot come visit our animals until you have gone through the application and brief phone interview process and then we will schedule a meet and greet with the animal and their foster parents. Then the next step would be a 1 week sleepover, so before finalizing we can all make sure it's a perfect fit. We are all volunteers and do this in our spare time, we do not have set "hours" and we answer all calls and emails as quickly as we can. Thank you so much for your interest in our FUR Babies!
