Ella is an approx 2 yr old female German Shepherd mix who was surrendered to the rescue by her family. Ella is a sweet girl but she was taken from her mom too soon which led to some behavior issues when she went into her "teens". Luckily for us Ella's foster mom is a trainer and she has worked with her for several months and she's made huge progress! She has literally blossomed since we got her and is much more social and open now and has had LOTS of dog socialization. She is ready to find her family!
Ella is a very active dog and will need an active family that also practices rules and boundaries. Ella is housebroken and crate trained and her adoptive family will also receive a training session from her foster mom to help Ella integrate into her new home!! Wow!!
Ella has learned to play with other dogs both in her foster home and at doggie day care, and she does very well but needs a confident dog buddy, as she plays hard and can lean toward dominant -- if allowed. She is not good with cats, and no young children. Please let us know if you would like to meet ELLA!!
Ella's Adoption Donation is $300 and includes spay/neuter, deworming, Avid microchip, and UTD vaccinations. Ella is being fostered in ST LOUIS, MISSOURI
