Meet Hank, a beautiful 8 year old, gray male who is looking for his forever home. He gets along great with other dogs, both big and small. Hank is both crate trained and house trained. He loves to ride in the car and will get excited when he sees a leash since he loves to go on walks too. He is a good watch dog and will bark if someone comes to the door. Hank sleeps on his bed in his foster’s room and would make himself at home on the sofa if she would let him.
Hank is slow to warm up to new people and places, but will settle right in after a little while and becomes your typical velcro dog. He does have some skin allergies that will need to be monitored and medication given, and needs to gain a few more pounds.
Hank is a wonderful boy and will make someone a great companion if they have the patience to get to know him and to protect him when he gets nervous.

Weimaraner Rescue of Texas
WEIMARANER RESCUE of North Texas, Inc. is an all-volunteer 501-C-3, non-profit, charitable organization.
Since 1989, our small group of volunteers has saved over 1,600 Weimaraners from suffering and death. We exist solely on donations and fund raising efforts. Every penny of our proceeds pay for veterinary care, food, boarding and essential expenses. WRNT began as the Rescue Committee of the Lone Star Weimaraner Club, Inc. (formerly North Texas Weimaraner Club). In 1997 WRNT incorporated and was granted 501-C-3 status by the I.R.S., enabling tax deductible donations to our rescue fund.
OUR MISSION is the rescue, rehabilitation and placement of Weimaraners from animal shelters, found stray, abandoned, neglected and abused. We educate the public on responsible pet ownership, and promote spay/neuter. We are dedicated to end the tragedy of pet over-population by opposing puppy mills, pet stores selling live animals, and irresponsible over-breeding of companion animals.
