About

Lilly was a stray mama that had puppies in the woods in a residential neighborhood. she was spotted cutting through a neighbor's yard, it was obvious she was nursing puppies nearby. Her caring savior fed her and watched her patterns, and she was able to track down the puppies and rescue them, then trap the mama.

She is shy and scared at first but warms up quite nicely once she realizes you aren't going to hurt her or her babies. The babies are old enough for their own forever homes and sweet Lilly will need her own family and people. She would make a great addition to the right family of loving patient pet lovers.

We start all of our adoptions with a one week sleepover, so you know everything there is to know before finalizing the adoption.

Adoption Fees for puppies under 6 months old: $225
Adoption Fees for dogs/puppies 6 months old or older: $150

Shelter Description

Our mission is to dramatically improve the lives of shelter and rescue animals, to assist in urgent rescue situations and to implement resources to help in the aid of these animals. We rescue from death row at high kill shelters and help them have happy lives in their furever homes.

Shelter Driving Directions

Please note: We are not a shelter. We do not have a kennel or facility that you can visit and see all the Animals. Each Animal is fostered in an individual home. So, you cannot come visit our animals until you have gone through the application and brief phone interview process and then we will schedule a meet and greet with the animal and their foster parents. Then the next step would be a 1 week sleepover, so before finalizing we can all make sure it's a perfect fit. We are all volunteers and do this in our spare time, we do not have set "hours" and we answer all calls and emails as quickly as we can. Thank you so much for your interest in our FUR Babies!

Areas Served

We rescue animals in Northeast Florida, including Putnam County, Bradford County, Clay County, St. Johns County and Duval County.

Adoption Instructions

We require a written application, references and a home check prior to adoption. If you're interested in a foster-to-adopt, we are very flexible.
