Sonnet is a very sweet, fun and playful, 18-month-old, nine-pound, female tortoiseshell cat with golden-green eyes and beautiful markings looking for a loving guardian.
Sonnet loves people, loves toys and loves other cats! She would love to live with another cat, but would do well as the only cat if someone was home to keep her company. She loves to sleep against you at night.
Sonnet was relinquished to Chicago Animal Care and Control with her three kittens. Sadly, all three babies caught a virus at the shelter and died.
She is very well-behaved in the home. Sonnet enjoys her scratching post and uses her litter box like a good girl.
She is very healthy, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, de-wormed, and virus-tested negative. Her adoption fee of $95 benefits the rescued pets of Friends of Chicago Animal Care & Control. Sonnet is being fostered in Chicago’s Beverly neighborhood.
If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting sweet Sonnet, please e-mail her foster mom Kathy at firstname.lastname@example.org for an adoption application.
