About Hondo

Hondo is a 4 year old 16lb Terrier mix. He came to us all the way from Laredo, TX. He wound up in a high kill shelter there when he was scooped up by animal control and his owners never came to pick him up. This little guy has been through some rough situations but is ready to start over! He is very friendly and just needs a family to return the love!

To find out more information on this dog please apply to adopt on our website at www.caretx.org/adopt and CARE will be in touch with you ASAP!

This dog was rescued from a kill shelter or the streets and has been evaluated for medical and temperament to prepare for a forever home and is in a foster home in San Antonio, Texas* and is ready to fly to its final destination once adopted. The $600-$700 adoption fee** covers spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, health certificate, and air transport. Please call CARE at (210)-315-9055 or email adoptions@caretx.org

* CARE rescue is in San Antonio, TX where we have a serious pet overpopulation situation.
