FemaleAmerican Bulldog /English Bulldog

Adorable Tickles came to us from a high-kill shelter in Georgia. A sweet, goofy 10 month old girl who will bring a smile to anyone's face!  She is currently 30lbs. Tickles is a GORGEOUS American Bulldog mix who LOVES people and just wants to snuggle all day long. She is extremely affectionate and loves hugs and kisses. Unfortunately she is not good around cats, and is selective with who her dogg friends are. But with the proper introduction, she can be playful and fun loving with another dog. If you are interested in adopting this adorable girl and have a dog, we must have a meet and greet to ensure the two get along well.

Tickles suffers from a rare disorder called megaesophagus, which is an enlargement of the esophagus that makes it difficult for her to swallow food. The disorder commonly results in vomiting, especially if the food gets into the dog's lungs. To prevent this Tickles must be fed standing upright to ensure that her food goes down properly.

Shelter Description

We are a unique rescue, aiming to appeal to people who typically buy from pet stores and breeders. We want to promote adoption in a positive and fun way. We have the same goal as other shelters- to find homeless dogs and cats their forever homes, but we want to change the stigma some people have towards shelters and its animals by creating a chic place that people will want to go to.
We are always on the lookout for animal lovers who are interested in fostering our pets. Please contact us if you would like to assist us with this or other volunteer opportunities.
