This incredibly happy guy is Snow! Thankfully, he was pulled from the Manhattan NYCACC on Monday, January 9, 2017, when he found himself placed on the At Risk List Snow is a 3 year old, sixty-eight pound, white and brown Staffordshire Mix. This blockheaded big guy is neutered, heartworm negative and up to date on his vaccinations. His manners could stand some improving which will easily come with some training. He loves to greet everyone with his exuberant leg hugs and big, sloppy kisses. This big boy low rider loves to take walks and his waggly walk is bound to make you smile and/or giggle. Snow is a leash puller and will most definitely increase the arm strength of anyone who walks him. Snow is adventurous, with a touch of wanderlust; he is interested in seeing new places and even made his way out of the transporter's fenced in yard in a matter of minutes to go exploring. Additionally, Snow bested the fence at an outdoor boarding facility by digging his way under it. So for now this guy should not be left unattended in a fenced yard or enclosure; he will need to be leash walked. He is super kissy and snuggly when indoors, wanting to be as close to his humans as possible. Snow just dotes on his humans and hates for them to leave his sight. His expression is priceless putting his paws up on the window sill to give his pouty face when leaving him. Equally precious is his excited, happy face when returning, ears straight up and tense from scrutinizing the airwaves for the right car to pull up, looking at you with his "OH BOY, OH BOY, OH BOY" expression. He probably still experiences some separation anxiety due to his being abandoned at NYCACC, and is always so ecstatic to have his human(s) return to him. It seems he is always so excited and thankful to have been rescued from the city shelter, that he finds it hard to contain his enthusiasm.
