FemaleDomestic Shorthair

This majestically colored tortie is full of personality. And attitude. Attitude that is very endearing and leaves a lasting impression. She was found along with several other kitties on the porch of a local cat lover who was feeding them after they were abandoned by their owners. She has now taken up residency at Le Cat Café where she is its longest tenured resident. Despite this relatively long membership, Twiggy is only now beginning to explore all that the cafe has to offer. In her first few months, she decided that the front counter was good enough for her. She rarely ventured from her chair there, welcoming/staring at guests as they walked in. She, however, has recently expanded her horizons. She now sleeps in the front window (staring at guests walking in), steps all over the k cups stored on another counter, and walks around the high up catwalks. This newfound adventurousness has had remarkably positive effects on her overall mood. Whereas she previously had a very short window for how long she would tolerate petting, she now likes (though still doesn't love) head rubs. She has a particular soft spot around her ears. And she will even occasionally sit in your lap, a true honor. While she has blossomed as of late, she still is not very comfortable around other cats. She is hard of hearing which makes her a bit paranoid because she can never be completely sure what's happening around her. As a result she may be best as an only cat.
