Howdy! I'm hope! I say Howdy because I'm a Texas Blue Lacy, the state dog of Texas!! I'm very proud of that because we are unique. I am an energetic, fun lovin' gal!
Need a running partner? I'm your gal! Want to play fetch? I'm your gal!
I'm up for anything fun!
I live with many foster brothers and sisters and even foster cats!!! I like all of them!
Although I'm not a fan of the kissies and huggies, I do like the occasional belly rub!
They say I'm about 2 years old, so I still have plenty of pep in my step! And I'm a good-sized girl, being a svelte 45 lbs.
If you'd like to hang out with me, complete an adoption application! You won't regret it!

Houston Homeless Pet Project
Houston Homeless Pet Project ("HHPP")is a core group of dedicated dog rescue volunteers who, between us, have over 50 years of experience in rescue in the Houston metro area. We are the rescue of last resort for those good Samaritans who find homeless dogs and are just trying to help. We are also the rescue of last resort for those hopeless animals that find themselves out of time at local shelters.
We provide rescue care, rehabilitative services, foster care and adoption placement to abandoned and stray dogs in the Houston metro area.
HHPP is an all-volunteer, foster based rescue. We don't have a shelter and rely on foster homes to provide our rescues with warm, loving home environments until they can adopted by permanent families.
