Nobody puts Baby in the corner! Little Frances Mouseman, i.e. Baby, was born on the cold streets of Sheepshead Bay along with her sister and brother in Sept 2015, and is looking for her forever home. She decided to come inside her caretaker's home, and simply refused to leave!

She is an extreme cuddler, nuzzler, a purring machine and a pure lap cat. She was very bonded to her brother who sadly crossed paths with a car, and Baby has been lost without him ever since. She's turned all her affections full-force to her human caretakers and has acclimated to being a house-cat instantly.

This beautiful girl is the sweetest kitty ever, and you'd never guess she was out on the streets. She will make a wonderful pet to a loving home with or without other pets.

Baby has been fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, dewormed and is negative for FIV or FeLV. She has a very mild heart murmur, but it does not require any care. She was TNR'ed by the ASPCA so she has a bad-ass ear tip! Full medical records are available.

To meet Baby, text or call her foster mom LeeAnn at (609) 306-0909 or email at

Shelter Description

Our rescue group was formed in December 2007, but all our Board Members have had extensive experience rescuing and working with abandoned animals. We often work with other rescue organizations to find appropriate and safe foster and adoptive homes for our pet clients. We regularly go to areas with abandoned animals and collect them. The animals are taken to a licensed veterinarian examined, treated and spayed or neutered. Every effort is made to work with the animal and our foster and adoptive families to find a suitable forever home.

For those animals who are truly wild and feral, we release the animal in a safe and secure location after it has recovered from its medical treatment. We also work with certified wildlife rehabilitators to rescue injured and orphaned wildlife. Our organization is focused on improving the welfare of the abandoned animals in need of help in Brooklyn. In furthering that goal, our resources are focused on the animals.

Aside from a few minimal overhead costs such as our website and phone services, our entire budget is spent on animal care such as medical and food costs.
