UNDER SAVING PAWS CARE - Meet Tessa. Tessa was rescued from the county shelter euthanasia list due to fear. She would stay to the very back of her kennel and not come forward. We could not think of her life ending in such fear, so of course we grabbed her and brought her to the rescue center. Tessa is still working on building her confidence and trusting people. She is a part of the center house dog pack so she has the ability to run around the center all day. She is gaining confidence from the other dogs. She uses the doggie door and will find some mischief if she is allowed to overnight. She loves her big kennel at night to sleep and enjoy a kong at bedtime! She does well with other dogs. The ideal home will be someone who is willing to come and visit Tessa often and earn her trust over time. She isn’t leash trained, so that will come with time. If you want to follow her progress, follow us on https://www.facebook.com/SavingPawsRescue. If you are interested in being that safe loving forever home and willing to work with her over time, fill out our adoption application now. Tessa is worth waiting for and is she ever beautiful! As always, if you are interested in a Saving Paws dog, you must fill out our online application to get the approval process started. We will only schedule meet & greets with an approved application! Currently our resources do not allow one central facility for our operations. We have many dogs in foster care and board others at the Canine Country Club. They are located in Phoenix, Arizona. All adoptions are by appointment. We do our best to be available and accommodate your schedule. However, being volunteer, we ask for your patience and assistance in all matters. A minor inconvenience is a small price to pay for helping a dog in need.
"Saving Paws" also participates in numerous adoption events year around. We will post these to our website and to this venue as they are scheduled.
