Happy to meet you! My name is Bowser, Bow-wow-wowza, the black beauty! I love affection and have been through basic obedience and I revel in learning and working. I would even love a forever family that is interested in running but also love to lounge around inside after too. Not only am I handsome but I don’t come with puppy issues like potty training or chewing. I am crate trained and would do great in apartment living too. I would do best as the only pet as I like to soak up all the attention (but I am fine with other doggies with a slow introduction).
Please email email@example.com for more information on how to make Bowser your newest family member!!
*Due to the location of our volunteers, foster homes and training resources, all potential adopters need to be within 2 hours of Chicago or Peoria, IL.

A submitted application is required to meet any of the pets. Animals are located in foster homes throughout the Greater Chicagoland and central IL areas. Please read the animal's bio carefully to find out where they are located.
Greater Chicagoland area and Central IL, as well as parts of southern IL, western IN and southern WI.
The MINIMUM adoption fee is $300 for adult dogs and $350 for puppies. This fee helps us to provide the necessary medical care and other needs for the dogs while in foster care. All dogs are altered, current on shots, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm tested (and treated if necessary), and to our knowledge, in good health before they are adopted out.
Why do we charge an adoption fee?
We are all volunteers and as such receive no monetary compensation for our work with the dogs. The adoption fee is used to help defray costs in the rescue and care of the dogs. Adoption fees never cover all the costs that are put into that individual dog, so additional donations are greatly appreciated.
