Thank you for your interest in volunteering with The Cat's Voice WV Rescue! We are a volunteer and foster based organization. The number of animals we are able to help is limited to the number of volunteers we have. As such, we are always looking for new people to join our team. We are excited to meet you and look forward to discussing volunteer opportunities! Applicants who are 16 to 17 will be required to have a signed parental consent form. Volunteers between the ages of 8 to 15 will need to have an accompanying parent or guardian during all volunteer activities. By submitting a volunteer application, you have acknowledged your agreement to any terms and/or conditions specified in this document.  If approved as a volunteer, you may be required to provide proof of medical insurance and will be required to sign a liability waiver. Additionally, if you are approved for the transport team, you will need to present a valid driver's license and proof of insurance. Do you fully understand and acknowledge these requirements?

PETCO RANSON TEAM: Would you be interested in being part of our Petco weekly care team? Volunteers sign up to help on any given day at the Petco in Ranson to go in and check on any cats in the cages. You will change their bedding if needed, refill food and water, clean the cage in needed, scoop litter boxes and tend to the general needs of the cats. This typically takes less than an hour if all four cages are occupied.

TRANSPORT TEAM: Would you be interested in being part of our Transport Team? Transport Team members will receive alerts when we need help with the transport of cats, usually to and from the ER or to vet appointments when fosters are unable due to work or personal duties. You must use your own vehicle and have a valid driver's licence and active car insurance.

I understand that it is my responsibility to handle all animals with respect and care and to ensure I utilize all proper handling tools available at all times.

I understand that in handling animals and performing other volunteer tasks there does exist a risk of injury including physical harm.
I hereby agree that I am providing volunteer services to The Cat's Voice WV. This may also include assisting at off site events through The Cat's Voice WV at various locations. I understand that The Cat's Voice WV nor any other businesses related to this offsite activity, is responsible for any illness nor injury caused by any animals that I come into contact with during my volunteer work. I agree to hold harmless and release from liability The Cat's Voice WV should I become sick or injured from any animals or activities as a result of my volunteer work.

I agree that on behalf of myself, my heirs, personal representatives and executors, I release, discharge, indemnify, and hold harmless The Cat's Voice WV, its agents, employees, directors and board of directors from any and all claims, causes of action, or demands of any nature of cause, including costs and attorneys fees incurred by The Cat's Voice WV in connection with the same, based on damages or injuries which may be incurred or sustained by me in any way connected with my services for The Cat's Voice WV including but not limited to animal bites, accidents, or injuries.

I agree that my services are provided on a volunteer basis without pay or compensation of any kind and all services are to be performed at my own risk. I agree to perform my volunteer duties to the best of my ability in accordance to The Cat's Voice WV guidelines. I understand that my volunteer involvement may be terminated at any time or any reason, by officers of The Cat's Voice WV or through my own doing.
